We had such a great time relaxing at The Hangout! You have to get a Shark Bite co*cktail and toast to your time in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Live Music
The Hangout has live music all year long at the Main Stage. When there isn't live music going the DJ has fun tunes playing and the entire place has a great fun beach vibe.
Wish Wall
Located just outside of the main eating area is an amazing wish wall! You can write your wish on a piece of paper and place it in an opening and hope it comes true!
There is paper and pencils ready for you to make a wish!

Ultimate Seafood Boil - snow crab, mussels, fresh Gulf shrimp, sweet corn, red potatoes, and Conecuh sausage- all poached to perfection in a low boil and finished with Old Bay garlic butter.
Chicken Tender Platter - Marinated and brined chicken tenders. Hand-battered and fried served on top a heap of fries.
Shrimp Plate - Fresh wild-caught Gulf shrimp golden fried and served with co*cktail sauce, Shaka sauce, and fries - shrimp doesn't get fresher than this!
Shrimp n Grits - Blackened southern Gulf shrimp with gouda grits cooked to perfection, topped with sausage tasso cream sauce.
Super Shrimp Boil - Full pound of large, wild-caught shrimp, sweet corn, red potatoes, and Conecuh sausage. Finished with Old Bay garlic butter.
Glazed Salmon - Asian glazed salmon fillet with a hint of ginger, served with white rice and seasonal veggies.

The Hangout Beachside - Burgers are made with a special blend of fresh (never frozen) ½ pound American beef served on a brioche bun and served with fries.
Alabama Wagyu Burger - Alabama Wagyu, our herd is a direct descendant of the world renowned "Red Emperor" from Kobe Japan and is locally and sustainably farmed right here in Gulf Shores, AL. Our cattle are raised in an all-natural, stress free, hormone, and antibiotic free environment. This results in superior signature marbling that has won many awards! Topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. Served with fries. To unveil its delicacy, the chef recommends keepin' it a little pink.
Pimento Cheese Burger - ½ lb patty topped with house-made pimento cheese, signature bacon jam, lettuce, and tomato.
The Lifeguard - 2 of 1⁄2 lb patties stacked with cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, fried onion straws, fried egg, thick sliced bacon, and our famous Monarch fried pickles.
Shaka Burger - 1⁄2 lb patty topped with fried fresh Gulf shrimp, remoulade, smothered in homemade Shaka sauce, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles.

Surf's Up - Malibu Coconut Rum, blue curaçao, peach schnapps, and pineapple & cranberry juice.
Blood Orange Paloma - a one-way salsa dance to the Caribbean with Hornitos Tequila, fresh-squeezed lime, blood orange puree & Sprite.
Hangout Premium Margarita - Altos Tequila, orange liquor, agave nectar & hand-squeezed lime.
Southern Mai Tai - made with Malibu, Amaretto, and Triple Sec, Blessed with pineapple juice, sour mix, and grenadine.
Epic co*cktails
You have to try a Shark Bite! This signature co*cktail comes with a shark in it that holds a bloody treat. Ok, it is not blood it is grenadine but when you pour it out it looks pretty fun coming out of the shark's mouth into your co*cktail.
Plus the Shark Bite tastes like adult Kool-Aid. It is one of those beach co*cktails you will happily order a 2nd one of.
They also have an amazing Bushwacker and so many more tropical co*cktails!!! If you are looking for a frosty cool beverage they have you covered.
Giant Beach Chairs
There are multiple giant Adirondack chairs around the property perfect for family and friend photos! These are the perfect Instagram pics to share your vacation fun!
Giant Shaka Hand
Another fun photo op is the giant Shaka hands! There is a step up so you can pose and have a ton of fun.

Every day in the summer the entire family can enjoy the Pirate and Princess Breakfast. This fun breakfast includes an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.

If you are celebrating a birthday be ready to have fun! Even if it isn't your birthday you can enjoy fun with a DJ/MC entertaining the crowd and getting everyone hooping and hollering.

One thing to know is the birthday fun can include climbing up on the table. If you are not comfortable dancing on a chair or table you may want to gracefully bow out of celebrating your birthday.

Easy Beach Access
The Hangout is located directly across from a beautiful white sand beach! You can easily enjoy lunch or a co*cktail and head back to the beach easily.
Hangout Music Festival
Every year when possible the Hangout Music Fest occurs in May.
All ages are welcome at the festival though anyone 17 and under needs to be accompanied by a ticketed adult over 21.
Past musicians have included Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Ray, Kane Brown, Doja Cat, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Things to know when planning a visit to The Hangout
Address - 101 E. Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores, AL
The Hangout is located next to best beach of Gulf Shores right at the end of Highway 59. You can't miss the light up sign.
Open daily from 11 am to 11 pm
Parking - There is some street parking right next to the restaurant. You will need to pay for a parking ticket for either $5 or $10 depending on how long you plan to be parked. There is also a parking lot next to the restaurant marked for The Hangout.
